The Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), Australia’s leading high-performance sport agency has a fantastic, new opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition Advisor. This exciting role sits within the new Workforce Development stream within the People Development and Wellbeing team (PDW). The role of this new stream is to develop and implement sustainable workforce practices to attract and retain the best people for the sport system.As the Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will support the delivery of sustainable recruitment practices to the high performance system, and provide candidate tracking and talent pool information that will contribute to and inform the development of key people analytics initiatives to enable improved workforce planning and the delivery of strategic objectives. You will provide business partner support to High Performance System partners on recruitment planning and talent management activities.The position will suit a highly motivated person with strong customer relation skills and an ability to time manage within a fast paced environment.To be successful in this role you will require: Experience in providing talent acquisition support and advice in both a strategic and practical sense, particularly to support and drive organisational change.Targeted Selection qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in behavioural interview techniques.Experience in social media and other platforms relevant to candidate sourcing and talent pool management.Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources and/or demonstrated experience in the Human Resources field (5-10years).Demonstrated extensive experience working with and in the high-performance sport sector or other high-performance environment.Understanding of and passion for the Australian sport system. Position is based in Canberra and will be offered as a fixed term contract for 4 years from commencement. Salary range =$92,007 - $106,078 per annum + up to 15.4% superannuation.Employment benefits include access to priority onsite Childcare placements, free parking facilities and use of on-site gymnasium.
