Who we areThe Australian Sports Commission (ASC) plays a central leadership role in the development and operations of the Australian sport sector and acts as the leading sports agency in Australia, building collaboration, alignment and effectiveness within the Australian sport sector. This role is based in the Finance branch working across Finance and Grants . We are a friendly and culturally diverse branch and our role is to drive strategic financial and grants management across the ASC and ensure the prudent management of financial and grant risk. The team is responsible for enhancing system development to achieve greater efficiency and delivery on strategic reporting requirements for the organisation.What we wantYou will be positive, proactive, and outcome focussed and have excellent skills in providing solutions-based system enhancements and deliver on organisational reporting requirements. You will have the ability to communicate with staff on a variety of levels and be someone who can work with team members to achieve outcomes for stakeholders as well as the following:Degree or higher qualification/s in Data Analytics and demonstrated experience in Grants, Finance, Data Analytics or a related field.Experience with Dynamics CRM, SmartyGrants and TechnologyOne, with specific experience in reporting and analytics using Power BI.Demonstrated experience participating in, or leading, digital project or product delivery teams comprising a mix of internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and liaison skills with a proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with others.Please note that an order of merit may be used to fill other opportunities, including longer term contracts or ongoing vacancies, should the opportunity arise within 12 months from the role being advertisedSalary range = $108,243 - $127,726 per annum + up to 15.4% superannuation.Please note the ASC operates under The Australian Sports Commission Act 1989 and is separate to the Australian Public Service terms and conditions of employment.
