Senior Developer

The information, Communications and Technology (ICT) branch provides a diverse range of support services across all areas of the ASC, including the Australia Institute of Sport.  ICT assists and supports the ASC to meet its strategic objectives in key areas such as modernising & streamlining business process, digitally enabling internal and sector engagement and collaboration and providing access to timely and reliable decision-making information.   The ICT team are engaged, passionate and adventurous – we’re committed to developing strong partnerships and focused on enabling business outcomes.  Teamwork is incredibly important to us and we value inclusiveness, innovation and outcomes over convention.   ICT is a social and dynamic team, we manage well with uncertainly and balance diverse thinking and strong collaboration to develop achievable and innovative plans. This is an opportunity to work with a creative and expert team that is well advanced on its journey to utilise Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure Cloud services for CRM, Portal and integration.  The ASC utilises the latest B2C identity services and Azure integration automation capabilities.  Our Dynamics Development Team is a passionate about the work they do, working closely with project teams to deploy business enabling services that connect the ASC to the broader Sport sector.  The team takes pride in developing quality, sustainable solutions that delver an excellent user experience whilst achieving high standards of information & system security.  This role requires an experienced Developer that loves working in a team environment and relishes the opportunity to participate in business consultation and design sessions. The senior Developer must be a good listener and influencer as well as a mentor to junior developers in the team. To be successful in this role you will need to be curious about how business processes work across functions and enthusiastic and up-to-date on new features and capabilities of the technology.  Position is based in Canberra.Whilst this current vacancy is for an ongoing role, please note that an order of merit may be used to fill other opportunities, including longer term contracts should the opportunity arise within 12 months from the role being advertisedThis position requires the holder to be able to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance to Baseline level Salary range = Salary is by Negotiation for the successful candidate Please note the ASC operates under The Australian Sports Commission Act 1989 and is separate to the Australian Public Service terms and conditions of employment.
