Senior Advisor – Learning and Development

Sport Australia invests in national sporting organisations, including organisations for people with a disability, to champion the value of sport and encourage Australians of all backgrounds, ages, and abilities to get involved in sport. In addition to providing funding, Sport Australia is focused on improving the capability of sporting organisations to create an effective and sustainable national sport sector.As the Senior Advisor – Learning and Development you will lead all Learning and Development outcomes for the Learning Centre and Game Plan product teams. This includes best practice in framework and curriculum, blended learning, face to face activities, eLearning and other educational approaches. This role will drive internal and external change and deliver positive sector impact to the volunteer and paid workforce.Experienced leader in the design, development, delivery and evaluation of eLearning and blended learning, including learning development strategies, curriculum, frameworks and programs.Experience in building a direct team, broader internal and external cross-functional teams and forming strong relationships to co-design and deliver diverse blended learning and development outcomes, frameworks and programs.Experience developing and using data insights to identify priorities which will inform development of strategic roadmaps and operational plans.Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine and reach acceptable and agreed learning and development solutions which grow sector capability and maturity.Position is based in Canberra, Melbourne or Sydney and is a fixed term contract through until 31 December 2023.Whilst this current vacancy is for the term 1 September 2021- 31 December 2023, please note that an order of merit may be used to fill other opportunities, including longer term contracts or ongoing vacancies, should the opportunity arise within 12 months from the role being advertised. Salary range = $108,243 - $127,726 per annum + up to 15.4% superannuation.Please note the ASC operates under The Australian Sports Commission Act 1989 and is separate to the Australian Public Service terms and conditions of employment.
