Senior Adviser – Sport Governance & Organisational Enhancement

Our vision is to be the world most active sporting nation, known for its integrity, sporting success and world leading sports industry.A key enabler of this priority is to increase industry capability, supporting sports to develop fit-for-purpose strategies, structures and operations in order to reach their potential and thrive in the modern environment.The Sport Governance and Organisational Enhancement team assists sporting entities to mature their governance and operating environment to realise greater efficiencies and strategic opportunities.You will work directly with the Boards and Executives of National Sporting Organisation (NSO) and National Sporting Organisations for People with a Disability (NSOD) to deliver high level advisory support to assist them to implement:contemporary sports governance practices and processes in line with the Sport Governance Principles and Standards; andcontemporary business models which improve the efficiency and effectiveness of sporting organisationsYou will also work across the sector to develop guidelines, tools and resources to improve organisational capability, and providing advice and consultant support to NSOs and NSODs to assist them to build organisational capability.This is an exciting opportunity to combine a passion for sport and physical activity with professional expertise in governance and business operations.
