Reception Supervisor

The Residences program works to provide high quality residential accommodation services and operations for up to 600 beds, manage residences facilities and amenities along with dining hall and cleaning services to internal and external stakeholders in support of ASC business during a 7-day operating environment.We are seeking a motivated and experienced hotel front office professional with strong hotel reception and staff management experience to join our dynamic team at the AIS Residences, Canberra, on a full-time basis.To be successful in this role, you will have:Sound experience as a team leader or senior receptionistAt least two years’ experience in a fast-paced hotel or similar commercial operations and services environment.Be conversant in handling high volume clients from diverse markets and a range of operational and services demands concurrently.Strong organisation skills and demonstrated capability in the use of hotel computer property management packages and associated communication systems is required.Strong communication skills and work well in a team environment.Position is based in Canberra.Whilst this current vacancy is for the term 2 years fixed term, please note that an order of merit may be used to fill other opportunities, including longer term contracts or ongoing vacancies, should the opportunity arise within 12 months from the role being advertisedSalary range = $62,781 - $74,688 per annum + up to 15.4% superannuation.Please note the ASC operates under The Australian Sports Commission Act 1989 and is separate to the Australian Public Service terms and conditions of employment.
