ICT Support Technician (Multiple positions)

The Australian Sports Commission (ASC) plays a central leadership role in the development and operations of the Australian sport sector and acts as the leading sports agency in Australia, building collaboration, alignment and effectiveness within the Australian sport sector. The Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) group provides a diverse range of support services across all areas of the ASC, including the Australian Institute of Sport. ICT assists the ASC meet its strategic objectives in key areas such as modernising & streamlining business process, digitally enabling internal and sector engagement and collaboration and providing access to timely and reliable decision-making information.The ICT Support Technician will work as part of a team to provide responsive, professional and client-focussed front-line technical assistance to ASC technology users, answering queries on common technical issues, tracking and escalating more complex incidents and requests. They will work with all areas of ICT to ensure technology services align to defined performance standards and procedures.Multiple roles are being recruited and they are all offered as fixed term roles for 6 months and may be offered as a full time or part time position depending on the applicant’s availability. Please note that fulltime positions will be 37.5hrs per week and part time positions will be 18hrs per week.Positions are based in CanberraWhilst this current vacancy is for an fixed term role, please note that an order of merit may be used to fill other opportunities, including longer term contracts should the opportunity arise within 12 months from the role being advertisedThis position requires the holder to be able to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance to Baseline level and is open to Australian Citizens only. Salary range = $62,781 -$74,688 per annum + up to 15.4% superannuation.Please note the ASC operates under The Australian Sports Commission Act 1989 and is separate to the Australian Public Service terms and conditions of employment.
