ICT Assets, Budgets and Contracts Manager

The Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) branch provides a diverse range of support services across all areas of the ASC, including the Australia Institute of Sport. ICT assists and supports the ASC to meet its strategic objectives in key areas such as modernising & streamlining business processes, digitally enabling internal and sector engagement and collaboration and providing access to timely and reliable decision-making information.  The ICT team are engaged, passionate and adventurous – we’re committed to developing strong partnerships and focused on enabling business outcomes. This role will require someone with a high level of organisational skills and an ability to problem-solve, test assumptions, and apply an analytical and strategic approach to their work. Our ideal candidate will be able to work effectively with key stakeholders and communicate with clarity and confidence. This role requires an experienced finance professional to manage the Australian Sports Commission’s ICT contracts, financial reports, budgets, software/service licencing, and capital management and replacement. You will need relevant accounting/financial management qualifications or equivalent experience and demonstrate your ability to identify key risks and opportunities to achieve cost-effective and sustainable outcomes for the ASC. Position is based in Canberra.This position requires the holder to be able to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance to Baseline level and it is required that applicants are Australian citizens only.Whilst this current vacancy is for an ongoing role, please note that an order of merit may be used to fill other opportunities, including longer term contracts should the opportunity arise within 12 months from the role being advertised. Salary range = $92,007 - $106,078 per annum + up to 15.4% superannuation.Please note the ASC operates under The Australian Sports Commission Act 1989 and is separate to the Australian Public Service terms and conditions of employment.
