Coordinator (Visitor Services)

The AIS is Australia's premier elite sports precinct. The Site Commercial section coordinates, optimises and services access to the AIS’ high quality accommodation, venues and facilities for the high performance sport sector, sporting organisations, school groups, tourists, general public and other commercial clients.The AIS Tours product offers a behind the scenes tour for schools, tour companies, families and the general public that contributes to the overall commercial revenue at the ASC in-line with the annual ASC operational plan and Key Performance Indicators.You will be an enthusiastic and friendly individual who as part of a small team will assist in the daily operational requirements of the AIS Tours unit; including, Sportex and the Visitor Centre, ensuring a high level of customer service.Note: The AIS Visitors Centre is open 7-days per week and this position may involve some weekend work.You will need to have:Demonstrated experience in front of house operations, preferably in a tourism environment.Customer service skillsGeneral administrative skillsAttention to detailFriendly and personable demeanourSenior First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain Position is based in Canberra and will be available until 17 February 2023.For all Canberra based positions, the ASC requires the holder to have received two doses of a government approved COVID-19 vaccination and have obtained boosters where due.
