The Australian Sports Commission (ASC) plays a central leadership role in the development and operations of the Australian sport sector. It acts as the leading sports agency in Australia, building collaboration, alignment and effectiveness within the Australian sport sector.The Infrastructure and Facilities Services Branch is responsible for operating and maintaining site facilities and infrastructure to a high quality and high level of availability in support of ASC operations. As the Assets & Logistics Coordinator, you will maintain the ASC asset register, and coordinate asset activities, such as monthly rolling stocktakes, analysing asset data and commissioning of assets in the financial asset register (i.e. Technology One) and disposing of assets. You will need to have a positive outlook and have a strong understanding of the asset management principles and provide advice to fellow staff members. The unique role sits within the logistics program and offers you to assist with the coordinating of the logistics services.To be successful in the role, you will need to have:Strong understanding of asset management principlesExperience in Technology One or similar financial software systemsWork as part of a small team environmentStrong relationship management and strong communication skillsExperience in managing or supervising team members With Christmas and the shutdown period from 25 December 2020 to 4 January 2021, the recruitment panel will review all applications from mid-January 2021.
